Why do I have a DA account again? I can never keep up with this stupid thing. |D;;
I'm sorry if it seems like I'm ignoring anyone out there who has contacted me and I haven't yet replied to. I just seriously can't... get motivated to come here more often. Reeeally soory. >3<
I've also been in an art slump as well, which is even worse. I try drawing but I just can't get into it like I used to. Its frustrating! >< Also, my tablet's on the fritz again (what else is new) so again I've been forced to go back to traditional art. Which shouldn't be so bad, if I wasn't so goddamn lazy.
Enough excuses. Perhaps I'll be uploading some sketches from my notebook later, but the scans of those things never look decent. We shall see.

Unfortunately, I hadn't submitted anything there. At the time I had signed up I had plans to draw something that would come out transparent, but I was new to oekaki and hadn't didn't work out like I planned. u,u
I hadn't really posted my art anywhere else other than my photobucket, but I have to remember the password for that before I can give it to you.
I think I remember what it is, assume it hasn't changed... I could tell you via email if you like. *looks around at the public-ness of DA comments* >.>

I'll see if I can recover my password tonight, and give you the email as soon as I can.

I find what sometimes helps is first, take a break, don't push yourself too much (drawing is supposed to be fun). Then perhaps draw something light, like something that isn't supposed to be well-drawn but is just fun to do anyway. Or maybe just copy a few pictures or draw from life. Sometimes I find that at the time I'm copying, I think I'm not doing well (or as good as I want to), but then I leave it a day or two and look back at what I did and it seems not bad.
Another thing to try to get back in 'art-mode' is to--dare I say it--trace. That takes off the pressure of having to actually concentrate/work out how to draw what you're drawing, but you're still drawing and you can still think about it if you want. Another fun thing is to trace a picture (or trace the guildelines of it), and then add your own features or change the picture (eg add wings or animal features, change the gender, change the clothes, expression, etc.).
Two things I'm curious about, because I recently got a tablet: 1) what brand of tablet do you have? 2) do you go on any oekaki boards?
Oh yes, and as I'm sure you know, I'd love to see even the crappiest or the worst-scanned of your sketches! ^_^
(Because, let's face it, your worst sketches are much better than the majority of stuff on DA. XD)

My tablet is a Compaq tc4200. The school gave it to us (so that's probably why its a piece of crap.)
As for oekakis, yea, I go there sometimes. I was on this one board for a while and had actually drawn things, when I realized on day that I was supposed to pay for it or something? So I couldn't access my drawings again after that. -_-
Another that I had recently signed up for was SSketcher which I preferred over the other two that they had there because this one didn't require you to do tryouts to be accepted to use it. Though I think it may actually be fun to tryout for those things (but I'm not exactly art program-savvy...) What oekaki boards to you go to?
And I'll see if I an get around to uploading some of my sketches for you then! ^^
Supposed to pay for an oekaki? o_O Link?
That's strange, 'SSketcher' looks like it's linked, but it's just an empty < a > tag... Um, link to that place? XD
I'm still new at oekaki, so there isn't really any specific place I go to yet. There is one place I troll, but that's more for silliness/practice. Other than that, I do have my own oekaki BBS on my site: [link] (Feel free to join ^^)
